The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA), Helen Brand, has paid a two-day visit to Mauritius, the island-nation off the southeast coast of the African continent in the southwest Indian Ocean.

The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) must continue to operate as an independent, not-for-profit standard-setter, one industry leader has claimed.
