Fawad Mujahid are one of those ACCA members that we need in a unprofessional Pakistan’s teaching fraternity. I personally loathe the teachers who are increasingly becoming cash models rather than becoming  role models. I know the profits are good for business but my personal stress in on innovation.

Innovation in our practices, modes and way of thinking. We have been impressed with the new techniques used in Europe and then anyone who visit that part of the world told us the stories of the teaching methods they adopted like they are coming from Planet Avatar.

Students believe that they will be clearing ACCA and will be directed directly towards Heaven (Employers’ Best Available vacancies) and if they could not, they will blame it on Zardari! (Though I’m not his fan either)

This is the most absurd thing we used to hear from students. But the mentality grows because of the leading political and economical turmoil (yes we are in a turmoil). As a nation we are becoming paralyzed when it comes to innovate and do things differently.

And during these times if I meet someone like Fawad Mujahid, I feel like enjoying a cool blow of air in hot streets of Karachi. Mr Fawad Mujahid Siddiqui is a Professional Business Facilitator. He currently holds Membership of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and has experience working with MNCs & Risk Management Company in the Field of Audit, Accounts, Finance, Credit Risk and Risk Management.

Fawad Mujahid have been teaching in SBS (School of Business Studies) and KnS (Khalil and Sajid). A business facilitator and a corporate presenter, he has been giving training to students specific to ACCA.

Fawad is one of those teachers, might be the first one, who started their own website to interact with their students.  The website, though a little weak in design, includes announcement of his seminars, events, mock papers and etc.

I talked with Fawad Mujahid and it has been a pleasure talking with professionals like him. What I personally feel during the discussion is that somewhere inside he felt the pain of our students’ and their infamous weakness of speaking up!

The website is a brilliant resource for students and I would personally encourage the students to consume the free services available.

And as a last note, I would encourage my friends in ACCA to start interacting with professionals. Use resources and build your own network rather than waiting for a Messiah to assist you!
