But in very same observation, it was revealed that those pages were developed by some students or staff of those institutes who are willing to take their employer name on social media – with different motives though.

Facebook may postpone its initial public offering to 2012, Bloomberg has learned from three sources familiar with the matter.
This comes as no surprise as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has always been very careful on the subject. “At some point along the path, I think it’ll make sense to have an IPO. But we’re not running the company to do that. We’re running the company to serve more people,” he said recently.

Facebook is standing at the foot of a virtual cash mountain. The social networking behemoth recently announced a plan to expand the Facebook Credits program beyond its beta confines. A network-wide rollout of the virtual currency application would streamline transactions online and, in effect, pave the path to the world's first global currency.
It's also going to help Facebook scale one of its last major economic hurdles - monetizing its millions of international users.

Could 84% of Facebook soon fall into the hands of a web designer (later wood pellet distributor) called Paul Ceglia? It’s unlikely, but to prevent it, Facebook will have to disprove Ceglia’s claims in court.

Lahore High Court during a hearing has ordered to lift ban on Facebook. Court has asked the government to make arrangements for making Facebook accessible in Pakistan.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, after getting directive from Ministry of IT and Telecom will ask ISPs to unblock facebook.
It is expected that Facebook will be available in Pakistan by evening today.
Earlier, Facebook was banned in the country due to blasphemous content on some of its pages.
