CIMA and Ufone Join Hands
Ufone became the first telecommunication company in Pakistan to join the globally acclaimed CIMA Training partnerprogramme, an initiative of CIMA, The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK, said a joint press release issued by CIMA and Ufone.
Ufone is the only telecom company which is closely associated with all the Professional Accountancy Qualifications. ACCA was the very first qualification to tie Ufone under its umbrella back in June 2010, under the leadership of Arif Masud Mirza, Head of ACCA Pakistan.
In the joint press release, CIMA Country Manager, Javaria Hassan explained the programme saying “CIMA Training is a quality assurance scheme, designed to ensure that the training of CIMA students is delivered everywhere to a consistently high standard”.
Nadeem Khan, CFO of Ufone, who himself was a Manager Assurance at A.F.Ferguson & Co. commented,
